How to create an account/Sign-up in Decode?
Overview
You can set up your workspace using your Email ID, Google account or Microsoft account. This guide will guide you through creating your account and configuring your workspace so you can start exploring insights, conducting research and collaborating with your team.
Steps to Set Up Your Account
Step 1: Visit the Sign-Up Page
Go to the Decode sign-up page: https://www.getdecode.io/user/signup
Step 2: Choose Your Sign-Up Method
Select how you want to create your account:
- Email ID
- Google or Microsoft SSO
Step 3: Email Verification (If Using Email ID)
If you sign up with your Email ID, a verification code will be sent to your email. Enter the code to proceed.
Note If you sign up using Google or Microsoft, the email verification step will be skipped. |
Step 4: Set Up Your Workspace
1. Enter a Workspace Name - this is your virtual space for conducting research.
2. Select your Data Centre based on the nearest region for optimal performance.
3. Select the solutions you want to explore:
- Insights Hub – Store, organise and search all your research materials, documents and findings in one place.
- User Research – Run surveys, usability tests, prototype testing and qualitative interviews to understand how people interact with your product.
- Consumer Insights – Conduct surveys, media testing and in-context studies to understand consumer attitudes, preferences and responses to your brand and content.
- AI Creative Insights – Upload creatives such as ads, banners or packaging designs and get attention, focus and clarity scores using predictive AI, without recruiting participants.
- AI Interviews – Conduct qualitative interviews at scale using an AI moderator. Upload a discussion guide and the AI runs the sessions, probing based on each participant's response.

4. Click Continue to proceed.
Step 5: Complete Personal Information
- Fill out the simple form with your personal details.
- This ensures your account and workspace are set up correctly.
Step 6: Invite Team Members (Optional)
- Add your team to collaborate on studies and sessions.
- You can skip this step and invite them later if preferred.
💡 Tip: Inviting team members early can streamline collaboration, especially for ongoing studies.
Step 7: Access Your Workspace
- After completing setup, you’ll be redirected to the success page.
- Click Get Started to enter your workspace.
Now your workspace will be ready for exploring Decode, conducting research and collaborating with your team.
You will also receive a welcome email from Decode at your registered email address. Use the link in the email to access your workspace.
