Decode Focus Enhancement ✨

In addition to existing data points like attention, focus, clarity, and percentage viewed, along with heat maps and fog maps, our predictive research now offers "second-by-second" metrics for videos. This enhancement provides users with deeper insights and elevates research to a new level of data analysis.

Attention quantifies the overall interest the stimuli has received. It is calculated based on the intensity of heat maps. If there are more intense regions, the attention value will be higher.

Clarity Score tells you if your customers will easily understand your stuff or not. It helps you see how clear your message or visuals are, so you can make them better for your audience.

Focus Score quantifies the level of attention drawn by an image or video, indicating the consensus on its most captivating elements. Images/videos with numerous intriguing components tend to score lower, as attention disperses. Conversely, assets with fewer focal points garner higher scores, as viewer gazes converge on specific areas.

Percentage Seen metric indicates the portion of an image that has been viewed, regardless of intensity values. It focuses on the percentage of the total area that a viewer would have observed.

Bug Fixes🔧

  • We have resolved the issue where two recordings were generated for a single qualitative meeting, but only one recording was reflected in Decode. Now, all recordings are accurately reaching the Decode platform.
  • We have fixed the issue where no toaster message appeared when users updated the media name under the files section in a qualitative meeting. Now, the toaster message is displayed as expected when the media name is updated.
  • We have corrected the image distortion issue in Decode Focus on the Safari browser. Images now display with the correct aspect ratio, without stretching or compression, across all browsers, including Safari.
  • We have fixed the issue where home team updates were not reflected immediately. Now, the home team updates are shown immediately as expected.
  • We have addressed the issue with the incorrect participant count when the audience is published and duplicated. The participant counts now reflect correctly post-duplication.
  • We have corrected the misalignment issue with vertical media and stretched AOIs. Now, the media and AOIs are aligned as expected.
  • We have resolved the issue where the time shown for earned attention was not in sync with the time spent on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Instagram feed blocks. Now, the earned attention time is in sync with the time spent, as expected.
