Launch a study

Before publishing your study, preview it and check that everything works as expected. Once you're ready, publish the study to start collecting responses.

Before you publish

1. Preview your study

Click Preview in the top-right and complete the study yourself. Test the full flow on the device your participants will use and make sure everything works as expected.

Note: Responses submitted through Preview are not counted in your study results.

2. Check your study logic

Open the Logics tab and review the conditions you've added to your study. Make sure the logic is set up correctly and triggers based on participants' responses as intended.

3. Check the start and end

Review your study from the beginning to the end and make sure everything is set up as expected. Check the Welcome Page, questions, tasks, logic, stimuli, and Thank You Page to ensure the required information, redirects, and other messages are included where needed.

Publish your study

When everything is ready:

  1. Click Publish in the top-right of the study builder.
  2. Your study status changes to Active.
  3. Your share link becomes live and can start collecting responses.

Once your study is live, you can manage your responses and make updates as needed.

  • View responses: Open the Results tab to view responses and completion details.
  • Manage responses: Use Mark as invalid to exclude responses that don't meet your quality requirements.
  • Make changes: You can edit existing questions and descriptions, hide existing blocks, or add new blocks to a live study.
  • Add new blocks: Any new block you add will be shown only to participants who start the study after the change. Participants who have already started or completed the study will not see the newly added block.
  • Close the study: When you have collected the responses you need, you can close the study to stop accepting new responses. You can reopen the study later if you need to collect more responses

Note: Changes to a live study may affect how responses are collected or compared. Review any changes carefully before saving them.
