Release Notes - September 4, 2023

What's New? ✨

  • With this update, we've added three new statuses related to workflow management to the filter in the library, enhancing your ability to manage and track your studies effectively:
    • Pending Approval
    • Rework
    • Approved

These additional status options offer a more detailed and granular view of the progress and status of your studies. Whether you're awaiting approval, need to revisit a study for rework, or have successfully received approval, these statuses help you stay organized and informed.

Enhancements🚀

  • We are pleased to announce a valuable enhancement for Decode Users with Approval Manager permissions. Now, as an Approval Manager, you will be able to view and manage studies that are awaiting approval exclusively from the teams of which you are a part. It's a feature designed to boost efficiency, reduce clutter, and enhance your overall experience as an Approval Manager.
  • Performed some UX cleanup in the platform.

Bug Fixes 🔧

  • Resolved an issue that prevented users from being logged out once their session had expired. Now, if a token has expired, users will be automatically logged out.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented users from being able to close a study by clicking on the "Close Study" button when a user opens the active studies in the Qualitative section. With this fix, users will now have the ability to close active studies as needed, providing greater flexibility and control over study management.
  • Fixed an issue related to user profiles for "Never logged in" users. Previously, in such cases, both the "Update" and "Resend" buttons were displayed in the user profile, causing unnecessary confusion. With this fix, the user profile for "Never logged in" users will now display only the "Resend" button, as intended.
  • Fixed a bug where email notifications were not sent to the approval manager for the study approval as expected in certain cases. With this update,  Approval Managers will receive timely notifications, ensuring efficient communication and workflow for study approvals.
  • Fixed an issue related to the duplication of pending approval studies. Previously, when a study pending approval was duplicated, the duplicated study also inherited the "Pending approval" status. Now, when you duplicate a study that is pending approval, it will be in draft status.
  • Fixed an issue related to changes not reflecting in the production environment without the need to clear the browser cache.  With this fix, new changes made to the platform will be automatically reflected in the production environment without requiring users to clear their browser cache. This ensures a smoother and more seamless experience, allowing you to stay up-to-date with the latest updates and improvements without any extra steps.
