Release Notes - September 11th, 2023

What's New? ✨

  • We are very excited to introduce a revamped dashboard to enhance your user experience. This updated dashboard will include widgets like Upcoming meetings, Collection, Qualitative study, quantitative study, and files to start with, and more widgets will be added soon. The ability to customize the dashboard by adding new widgets and reordering the widgets is coming soon. Each widget will feature a "View More" button for easy navigation. These changes aim to offer more flexibility and customization while ensuring a streamlined dashboard experience.
  • We are thrilled to introduce the all-new "Demo Mode" feature, designed to enhance your user experience and provide an intuitive environment for exploring the platform's capabilities to get started on the platform. Simply access it from the Home page, and you'll be navigated to the demo Library page. For now, users will have view-only access in the demo mode.
  • Introduced a more secure and flexible way to share insights with stakeholders. Now, when you share your valuable insights, you have the option to protect them with a password. When you click the share button, a pop-up window will appear, giving you the choice to either share your insights publicly or set a password for added security.
  • Enhancement to our search functionality: Now, in addition to searching for various elements within the platform, you can also search for specific content within files. This means you can effortlessly locate and access the precise information you need, whether it's in Transcript, PDF, PPT, or Docs.
  • We have updated the navigation bar across the Decode platform, designed to enhance your navigation experience. With this update, you'll also have the ability to expand and collapse the navigation bar using a convenient button. This feature provides you with greater control over your workspace's layout, allowing you to maximize your screen real estate when needed and easily access the navigation menu when desired.
  • Performed some UX cleanup in the platform.

Bug Fix πŸ”§

  • Fixed an issue where the auto-generated Tags and Highlights API was encountering an error on the media page in certain cases, but the user interface failed to display an error message. Now, with this fix in place, when such an error occurs, the UI will correctly present an error message indicating that the usage limit for auto-generated tags and highlights has been exhausted.
  • Fixed an issue where, when the user limit was exhausted, clicking on "Resend Invite" in the user profile UI was not displaying an error message. With this fix, users will now receive a clear error message when attempting to resend invites after reaching the user limit, ensuring a smoother experience.
  • Fixed a bug that caused some users to encounter an "Unsupported Browser" error message before being redirected to the login page while attempting to join a Decode meeting. This issue has been resolved, and users will no longer see this unsupported browser message, leading to a more seamless meeting experience.
  • Fixed an issue where, when the user limit was exceeded, the "Invite User" button in the navigation bar and on the user list page remained active. With this fix, the "Invite User" button will now be disabled and accompanied by a tooltip, providing users with clear guidance when the user limit has been reached.
  • Fixed a bug related to updating media thumbnails. Previously, users were unable to successfully update thumbnails as the requested thumbnail and the thumbnail in the response were mismatched. Even after attempting to update, only the default thumbnail was displayed in the response. This issue has been fixed, and users can now reliably update and view the correct thumbnails for their media.
