Release Notes - August 29th, 2023

What's New?✨

  • We're excited to introduce a powerful enhancement to our Insights in Qualitative Studies - the ability to Add Tables using Slash Triggers. With this feature, you can organize your findings in a tabular structure and present data within your insights.
  • We're thrilled to introduce an exciting expansion to our Quantitative Study offerings: the addition of New  Templates. These templates have been added to enhance your study creation process, providing you with a broader range of options to suit your specific research goals.

Enhancements🚀

  • We have updated the loader for all the pages across the platform to improve your navigation experience.
  • We have introduced a new feature that will allow you to seamlessly understand your response limits. Once the allocated response count for your workspace, determined by your subscription, is exceeded, the response collection will automatically halt. To keep you well-informed, a noticeable banner will appear in the dashboard view, indicating that response collection has stopped due to reaching the limit.
  • Introducing a new Decode Live enhancement: Live Meeting Minutes Calculation. Live usage is accurately tracked based on meeting recordings. If you approach or exceed your limit during a call, it continues seamlessly. Once exceeded, actions like creating or joining meetings are restricted with a message. We believe this new feature will significantly improve your Decode Live experience, providing accurate usage tracking and clear communication.
  • We have enhanced the subscriptions so that users who choose the monthly payment plans will enjoy the annual usage limits. We have also added the option to cancel the monthly or annual plans from the billing page after the end of the annual subscription (after payment of the 12th month) before the subscription is renewed.
  • We have revamped and updated the Invite User form to bring an intuitive design in line with the new Decode design for the process of inviting users, making the experience more streamlined and enjoyable.

Bug Fixes🔧

  • Resolved an issue related to adding highlights and tags in insights. Previously, the UI wasn't displaying an error when the limit for adding highlights and tags was exceeded. With this fix, the user will no longer be able to add tags/highlights once the limit has been reached.
  • Fixed an issue related to the Online Shopping template in Quantitative Studies where an incorrect choice was being displayed within the template. With this fix, the template now accurately presents the choices, ensuring a seamless and correct user experience.
  • Resolved a bug related to the Quantitative Study Action menu. Previously, a clickable space was present within the menu, resulting in unintended behavior. Clicking this padding space would trigger the upload media popup. With this fix, the padding space within the Study Action menu is no longer clickable, ensuring that only the intended actions, such as deleting, function as expected.
  • Fixed a bug that affected the tester view functionality for the quantitative studies. Previously, skipping the first image in the preview test was causing the second image to repeat. With this fix, the issue has been resolved, ensuring a seamless and accurate preview tester experience.
  • Resolved a bug related to the emotion metrics filtering on the Highlights tab. Previously, there was an issue where non-dominant emotion metrics were displayed when filtering highlights, tags, or speakers. With this fix, the emotion metrics filtering on the Highlights tab is now accurate and aligned with your expectations. Non-dominant emotion metrics will no longer appear erroneously while applying filters, ensuring a more precise analysis of the data.
  • Addressed an issue with background images in the quantitative study blocks where the image was stretched in all blocks except for the first Question/Welcome block. With this fix, the background images in all blocks will be displayed correctly without any stretching. This ensures a consistent and visually pleasing experience throughout your study, maintaining the intended design and aesthetics.
  • Fixed an issue affecting the processing of integration media within Qualitative studies. Previously, a bug caused integration media with no input to be processed automatically when moved into a Qualitative study. With this fix, Integration media without required input will no longer be processed automatically upon moving into a Qualitative study.
  • Fixed a bug that was generating transcripts twice for the same media for certain cases, leading to inaccuracies in the speaker phase metrics, which incorrectly displayed a double number of speakers. With this fix, the issue of duplicated transcripts and inaccurate speaker phase metrics has been completely resolved. Transcripts will now be generated only once for each media, ensuring the correctness of speaker phase metrics and providing a more accurate representation of participant interactions.
  • Resolved an issue regarding user profiles. Previously, if a user's name field was left blank upon sign-in, it resulted in an empty data field. With this fix, an email address will be assigned as the default name in the user profile to prevent this empty data field. Furthermore, to enhance user experience and data completeness, we've implemented a solution where, post-sign-in, if the user's name is blank, they will be automatically redirected to the profile page.
  • Resolved an issue where APIs were not correctly throwing a 422 error for plans where AI highlights and AI tags are not supported. With this fix, the issue has been addressed, and the auto-generated tag and highlights APIs will now accurately generate the appropriate 422 error response for plans that do not support AI highlights and tags. This ensures consistent and accurate error handling based on the plan's capabilities.
  • Resolved an issue related to the "User Does Not Exist" error in the workspace configuration. Previously, users were encountering this error after signing in with existing credentials. With this fix, the error has been completely resolved for valid user sessions. Additionally, the correct user data will now be consistently passed upon every login, ensuring accurate and reliable user identification and access to workspace configurations.
  • Fixed an issue where the tooltip for the collection browser while in the move media popup was overlapping other components on the page, leading to a disrupted user experience.
  • Fixed the inline error issue in the password reset process. Previously, an inline error persisted even after rewriting the password and new password fields to match. With this fix, the inline error will now disappear as expected once the re-written password field matches the new password field.
  • Fixed an issue where the media preview was not displaying correctly after users uploaded media in the upload media block in quantitative studies. With this fix, the media preview will now be displayed in the correct place after uploading media in the upload media block. This ensures a seamless and accurate user experience, allowing users to easily access and interact with the uploaded media.
  • Fixed a bug that was causing incorrect/unidentified text to appear in the Speaker Phase Metrics and Emotion Metrics for some media. The issue has been completely resolved; The metrics will now accurately display the relevant information, providing a clear and precise representation of the data.
  • Fixed a bug causing the comment text box to overlap with the next slide in the presentation. With this fix, the comment text box in PPT presentations will be properly positioned and will no longer overlap with the next slide. This enhancement ensures a clear and unobstructed view of both the comments and the slides.
  • Fixed an issue where the commenter's name was changed to "Unknown" for a fraction of the time for the document transcripts. With this fix, Commenter names will now remain accurate and consistent throughout the comment entry process, eliminating any unexpected changes.
