How to take a Survey on Decode?

Participating in a survey on the Decode Platform is a breeze! Once you receive the survey link, opening it on any web browser on any device is all it takes to embark on this insightful journey. Let's dive into the simple steps to get started: 

Step 1: Access the Survey Link. Upon receiving the survey link, simply click on it or copy-paste it into your preferred web browser.

Step 2: Review the "Privacy Policy" Before proceeding, take a moment to familiarize yourself with the survey's terms and conditions. Once you are ready, click on the "Get Started" button to begin.

Step 3: If there is no Tracking technology enabled for the Media Insights(Image and Video data) blocks in the Survey, you will be directly presented with the survey question. 

If there are Media Insights Questions involved, you'll be requested to enable your camera. This is done to collect your facial data and eye tracking data. Please be assured that your camera will only be used for Media Insights block involving facial coding or eye-tracking technology. For other sections of the test, your camera will not capture any data.

Step 4: To ensure accurate results, we'll guide you through a facial calibration stage. Simply follow the instructions and keep your head positioned at the centre of the provided box.

Step 5: If the test incorporates eye tracking, a 13-second eye calibration stage will follow. This step is essential to calibrate your eye movements, enabling us to provide precise insights for eye tracking.

Step 6: Once your calibration is complete, the test questions will be presented to you, and you can proceed with the assessment.
