G&R Block

What is G&R?

Grouping & Randomization lets you:

  • Group blocks to target specific respondent segments.
  • Randomize block or group execution to remove order bias.
  • Set quotas to control how many respondents see each group or block.

When to Use It?

Use G&R when you want to:

  • Test different versions (e.g., product concepts, messages) across audience segments
  • Avoid bias by shuffling block order
  • Control respondent distribution across groups or paths

How to Set Up G&R Block

1. Add G&R Block - Click “Add G&R Block” from the available blocks.

2. Create Groups - By default, one group is added automatically when you insert a G&R block. You can rename it and add up to 10 groups in total.

3. Add Blocks to Each Group - Drag existing blocks or create new ones inside each group (can add up to 5 blocks per group).

4. Edit Group Name (Optional) - Click the group name to rename it - e.g., “Frequent Buyers” or “Concept A”.
